Sounds to me like GRMN will be a thing, but who knows. Just curious if you were speaking of a special edition or just the standard car, or a slightly higher trim getting these upgrades. Interesting info.
I hate this forum.
I asked you in another thread, but you may have not seen it. Is this 2022 deal for people who will spend $85k for a GRMN, or is this a general change for the car?
Things may have changed, but the car scene in SA was pretty solid ~10 years ago if you stuck to some of the more legit meet ups. There's a huge ricer import crowd that do the typical parking lot meet ups and things generally get pretty stupid, but even there I was able to find a good group of...
I think you're right. All of the 3.0 cars should have the red brake calipers I believe. Only the A91 cars show the red calipers, so the other colors must be the 2.0 option.
I may have missed it, but is there an exhaust upgrade on the A91? Or maybe just exhaust tips?

Go to the color selector and look at the back view. The two A91 options have larger tips.
There's almost no question that this is what is happening. Comparing what the GR Yaris is to what the GR Corolla will be at least. I mean the Corolla may have more power so no one in the US will notice it's actually worse, but it seems like it will be a much different car.
Dramatic changes to the whole car, or a dramatic GRMN model available?
You're likely correct and no one understands compressible flow fluid dynamics like you do, but let it rest man. Holy shit.
Maybe I'm not looking at the correct post, but it looks to me like what you commented on was an article about the GR Corolla, so he probably does have evidence to say it's coming to the US. In the same post someone commented about how they'd rather have the GR Yaris and Moto-san responded saying...
It seems like you prefer the GR Corolla to the GR Yaris. Is that just because it’s a bigger, more practical car, or is there something else with the Corolla that will make it more appealing?
I do think it will be a cool car, but I’m imagining something along the lines of a Focus RS. Cool, but...
Do you expect the GR Corolla to get similar body treatment as the Yaris? Mostly new body panels compared to the base model, roof line changed, etc. You basically can't replicate a GR Yaris from a base Yaris due to the sidemember/roof changes.
What I've seen shows no more Downshift Blue. Does that look to be gone from your system as well?
Also, I don't yet see any special edition model with Misano Blue. Anything on that from your end?
Toyota USA is annoying me.
I'm guessing this whole thing is a "Do you want a hot hatch? Cool, we'll make you a GR Corolla instead of this Yaris you couldn't possible want." They did respond to some people who said they'd buy the Yaris by saying things like "We hope you take your new Yaris...
The thought of Lexus not wanting to share engines with Toyota but then using a Mazda engine doesn't make much sense to me. Wouldn't be the first time they did something that doesn't make sense though.
My fallback plan for the Supra not getting a manual has been 997. Now I've read so much on bore scoring I'm afraid to go that route also. Still more likely than buying an automatic sports car though. Toyota just fails me over and over again. I'd take the damn Yaris GR over any of them, but they...
