I gave up trying to figure this out, I'm just gonna bring the bugger in once a year. If you're planning to keep it long term it's worth splashing the cash for frequent oil change, so look as it's a reputable dealership. Bring yours to Macclesfield Toyota, pretty good Supra representation there...
Agree with some other people, interesting to hear thoughts, I only drive the Supra once every 7-14 days on average, so every time it's an experience and I am super excited for it. It's always washed and put in the garage before the next drive, so when they day comes, it's shiny and ready to go...
Thank you!
Can I ask please what's the reason for deflating for prolonged periods?
I am not "mechanically" minded sorry.
When I was thinking of it I thought, if the tyre is less inflated would that not allow the tyre rubber to be slightly more flexible hence allow more possibility of a flat...
Hi,
My Supra is garage kept and frequently has periods of 2-3 weeks when it's not driven.
Battery wise I have a CTEK so no issues however should I worry about tyre flat spots?
What I try to do is start it and move it a few inches in the garage so it's sitting on a new tyre spot maybe once a...
Preach, finally someone I can relate to, seems like people here change cars as often as they change underwear (that's assuming they have good hygiene ?) if you buy and sell cars like the stock exchange, then stfu with the bitching about mark ups. ?? reap what you sow.
Hi @NitroYellowMKV - may I ask please what is the process of making these wheels i.e. where are they from/sourced/built?
I'm totally new to this world and generally not keen on changing anything on the car, BUT, these steering wheels I am seeing are just too good, I'd love to hear more about...
Generally, arrogance, ignorance, social media and young age combined tend to be the root cause(s) of all annoying people-related car culture trends.
Car specific trends I hate:
- Keyless entry
- Start&Stop
- No oil dipstick on the b58
- Stock exhaust being quiet
Thanks everyone for your posts, looks like a good even mix of opinions.
Will share results here when I finally get some sun, I'll try and do a before and after clip for beading/sheeting, I'll decon with citrus, iron fallout and tar&glue first.
Aaaah sh1t that sucks :'( I guess I'll just have to find some sort of satin touch up paint kit and I suppose between seeing a white mark vs a slightly different shade of black, think the latter is the lesser of two evils.
Hi,
After watching many reviews I decided to buy the Meguiars Hybrid Ceramic Wax due to its versatility and ease of use to keep the paint protected. Car's in the garage for 2-3 weeks as it's basically non stop rain/snow period and I only drive it in the dry to keep it pristine so haven't got...
Hi mate,
Yeah I think it's worth it and the more of us go there the more hopefully it strengthens the GR reputation there, I got 4 different customer satisfaction surveys since so it looks like some manager there actually is caring.
I asked for a while-I-wait and was very specific I came from...
Cool yeah I watched those vids too, it does seems cool but as you said I think for low profile Supras like ours, you need long ramps = lots of wood = lots of $
And another downside is they will be very heavy!
I can confirm it can look more gold/orange in the right light, it is great. I had the same fear it would be some ugly flat yellow but it really isn't, fortunately.
