Unpopular opinion possibly, but I really don't understand this. Why sirens a bunch of money on a vehicle, for it to sit for literal years?? I'm not saying it should have 200k on it, but not even 10k miles...

Saw a couple of threads that all looked like the dealer has to be the one to do the calibration. I can't imagine it would have any impact on your unlock. Doesn't sound like there's any ECU work that needs to be done, but that's just my take from the limited research that I've done.
I believe the only confirmed downpipe to not throw a CEL is the one by Active Autowerkes. It does have a CAT but you likely won't even notice the 3 HP difference with the CAT unless you're going for a really high horsepower build or want to smell like unburnt fuel or want your car to wake up...
