Thatās what you call a dedicated track car. I canāt think of anywhere you can drive w/out lights in the US. My S2K didnāt have lights either but I did have a detachable light bar for night track events.
OMG bud that sucks!!!! My 5.0 Mustang was stolen at my apartment when I was in college in Miami. Hence why car insurance is triple in Miami/Dade/Broward counties. My cars have been garaged ever since. Maybe consider a proximity alarm or better cameras (with stickers letting them know you got...
What if someone lives/parks on a steep hill Phil (rhyme not intended)? Would that be too much on the gear. Iām in Flat Florida. So you always put the damn thing in gear and pull the E brake. Thanks!
Mark
(and I didnāt realize it was such a problem until I saw @Spart ās video - wow)
Be careful if you go too low with springs. She can throw some codes. Then again she may not. But it does happen. I paid a non-dealer to code them out. Overall, Iām really happy if I donāt use the dealer for service ?
Holy schmack! Bryan has a whole thread on how he did his. Would it be possible to do his steps for your seat? Very basic question because Iād like to do a seat someday but my biggest fear is stuff like this ?
The local shop couldnāt fix it? Iād find another shop thatās more versed on aftermarket parts. A race shop would be best because they see everything. Itās going to take more than just plugging it into a computer. True mechanics are hard to find. But when you do, itās well worth it! Lastly, if...
I thought about it until I saw the price, lol.
Dude⦠what you doing with that?
Thatās what you call going all in. Badass man! Now you just need a detachable light bar for night events ?
Great on the street! Like @kaj, Iāme definitely not going to change them. Also, checkout the price on Tirerack and Speed Industry. Phenomenal bang for the track buck.
Mine are the RC-1, 100 tread wear. Great grip from start to finish (cord), affordable, and last a long time, which adds to my...
Iāve got the US spec Eibac springs with Verus camber plates installed. Any idea what I should ask for them? They were too low for tracking on a 275/35-18 square setup, for me. I didnāt get rub until really high speed corners on compression. They did look great though!
I ran them for...
Iād go with a 200 tread wear for your size to start. Iāll be doing the same thing when my stock tires wear out. I have another set for track that is a 100 tread wear. But thatās really aggressive. So depending on how sticky you want them and what you want to do.
Sorry to hear brother ? It can definitely wear down when youāre driving for fun. Weāve had to replace them on other cars, so when I found out they made an improved one and it was so cheap, it was a no brainer. Iād reach out to Turner and asking them if theyāll be getting/making more.
Partnering...
Wow!!!!! 3 minutes in, this is unbelievable ?. Thanks for making this more understandable to the masses. That is just plain awful! And as you said, needs to be fixed ASAP ?
Great job ?? @Spart . What are you supposed to do? Carry wheel chocks with you everywhere you go????
If you have the OEM rotors, they are stellar. Keep them as long as you can. If not, itās really not worth spending a ton of money on rotors, unless you like the looks. The brake pads will give you the most bang for your buck. More performance = more dust & noise. So a dual pad should do you...
That last picture of your video says it all. Now I understand the scope of what youāre doing. Looks like so much fun ? Iād love to do that someday! Keep us posted how she does.
