  1. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

That would be a cool test if anyone has only done sway bars to their car. What I’m looking for is quicker input & control when counter steerIng out of a sticky situation. I don’t want the car to be ā€œlooseā€ while accepting input from the steering wheel. Even in just milliseconds, if the car is...
  2. JB4 Custom Map 93 Octane

It’s incredible what Jessie can do with the JB4. My use is totally different. I need to find the right pinch to run her like a dawg ? in extreme heat. Just let Jessie know what you want to do. He can get you more dyno, drag, or track power. He even wanted to know what kind of tires I’m using...
  3. Radar detectors ?

That sounds about right. Especially if you’re carrying 100/300 comp & collision. I’ll have to find out. The Supra is one of the best $$$ out of the 5 cars. My MX5 is the lowest at around $80. Our ceilings are being redone (from hurricane) and currently covered in tarp. I’ll let you know when I...
  4. U.S. Toyota Dealers without Mark Ups

Modern Toyota was fabulous. Shipped to my door and at MSRP. In Winston Salem, NC. ā€Momā€ was my sales person.
  5. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

You might like the Eibach sway bars. They have 3 different settings. You can dial in your feel, what you like :)
  6. Several HPDEs in, looking into mild track upgrades

Damn, one day off and y’all nail ? it all. Rock is spot on. If you’re in a momentum car you’re forced to drive a decent line and maintain car control. Otherwise you loose speed you can’t regain with horsepower. I honestly don’t know if I could be that disciplined in this Supra. I still look for...
  7. Several HPDEs in, looking into mild track upgrades

I get what you’re saying. Usually it takes more to get that kind of tactile feeling with a car in this price range and with govt regulations. This Supra was a surprise for sure. However I have no regrets. She feels way more buttoned down with my SPL parts. I can feel every pebble, lol. It’s way...
  8. I want to feel my car.

I got this exact setup from NitroYellowMKV. It’s fantastic for the track or having my son’s friends come over and ask me to start the Supra for them while they pull their cellphones out to record itāš”ļø ?
  9. Radar detectors ?

I hear ya dude. I added my silly comments to this post because it was the polar opposite and for fun. I felt the same until I saw the bill $$$ for two teenagers. I thought about how and where I drive. For me, I only go back and forth from work, and everything is close. Really low miles. Also, it...
  10. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

Or learning how to drive off line, in the rain. That’s where you’ll find your most grip. It’s a fun perspective for sure. After a few laps, you’ll find your speed creep up. And talk about an adrenaline rush when you do. Highly recommend everyone learn to drive in it :)
  11. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

Let’s not forget Sebring ? https://www.imsa.com/events/2023-mobil-1-twelve-hours-of-sebring/ Road trip anyone?
  12. Radar detectors ?

Those are great looking detectors & damn they’ve come a long way! Other side of the coin ? and another reason why I don’t need a radar detector (and get my need for speed on track) - I have the State Farm little hockey puck device w/ app that tracks me & my family like fugitives. But… it gives...
  13. A better wheel than TE37's

You can’t go wrong. I want another set! Absolutely love ā¤ Apex
  14. All-new 2023 Nissan Z makes world debut!

Anyone see one of these at an actual race track? I haven’t. As if tracking wasn’t expensive enough. Imagine dumping tons of money into the Z to get her proper and keep her going (on track). Off track, she’s probably fun - for an extra town car.
  15. Several HPDEs in, looking into mild track upgrades

Hilarious dude! Glad I’m not the only one. She’s so fast everyone assumes there must be tons of extras done to the car. Poor Carlo @1slow_mk5 . I did the same thing to him because he’s completely stock ? In all fairness the catless downpipe does add power in my car. I did it for sound and avoid...
  16. Several HPDEs in, looking into mild track upgrades

So glad you’re as impressed with her on track as the rest of us! Assuming @decodeddiesel has camber plates or adjustable control arms to dial in some negative camber. That and good tires are huge (outside of brakes). Even my track buddy Carlo @1slow_mk5 ā€˜s fully stock Supra is feeling the power...
  17. Formula 1 Talk

Gotcha! Mercedes was dominate for so long, it just seemed blah (from the outside). The Netflix series helped spark our interest. Now that we’re all in, it’s obviously much better following each race. While not true, it appeared to us that Red Bull was taking down the big bully (spender)...
  18. Radar detectors ?

forgot about LiDAR. Yeah that sucks. Hence why I’m doing the same thing as you for my in town driving.
  19. Razorlab - 2020 LE build thread

You ever consider a pinch of toe out up front?
  20. What stud conversion kit does everyone use?

Great reminder brother Z! Correct me if I’m wrong but… the biggest reason for choosing FCP would be - you only have to buy the product once ever. They will replace everything they sell for free ?. That’s such a stretch to believe but a local Supra track buddy does exactly that. Even his oil...
