Not to mention a potential ripple effect of other states joining California due to a change in the political demographic, but this is a bit off-topic for a car forum.
Local dealerships were upcharging me $6k on Premiums when I was shopping for one last year as opposed to the fully loaded base model. I couldn't really justify another $6k for fully leather seats, heated seats for a car mostly used in the summer, a HUD, and marginally bigger rear rotors, and...
I'd definitely get an EV at some point. Once I feel confident that I can plan trips around where I want to go, as opposed to where it can be charged, I'd look into getting one.
It will never be a Tesla though; there's way too many red flags for me, both from the issues of the cars and the...
You could talk to a lawyer and see what options you have, but honestly, if its cheap and doesn't affect points or anything, might as well pay the fine.
I had a chance to drive a 911 GT3, and ride along in a friend's GT4, so of course I'd love to get my hands on a GT4 RS for a dedicated track car. However, $150k is a lot to shell out.
As for the Z06, it'll be a great performance car, but I have a preference for European interiors.
@Thill444 actually hits it on the spot. Toyota shut down the factory that made inline 6s, which they wanted in the Supra, so any overhead to get an inhouse inline 6 going would've pushed up the price a fair amount. Let's not forget that $40k in 1990 is about $75-80k now adjusting for inflation...
If you want an "under-the-radar" sleeper car, the Supra is definitely NOT the car you're looking for. Car people know what the Supra name is and will talk to you whatever their opinion may be, and non-car people can tell it doesn't look like many other cars on the road since it doesn't really...
Racing suits are required in Sweden? Interesting to know. At the tracks I've been to here in America, helmets are mandatory, but you can wear casual wear.
I wouldn't call the actually functional tow hooks rice, since they're have functional use. The tow hooks for show only are technically rice...
Just gap them, or downshift at 3500-4000RPM in sport mode and watch those gunshot pops go off. Even better with most aftermarket downpipes. Should scare the tailgaters off.
Agreed 100%. A GRMN Supra would probably be in the ballpark of 3-3.5 seconds for 0-60. At that point, the bottleneck is mainly the organic bit behind the wheel.
It would make sense on the current 2.0 and 3.0 as you said.
