Well the dealer near me has an LE for 97k and 2 Premiums for 75K. So... fuck them. Im waiting out a bit for revised versions. But I already know I can leave state and get one for MSRP. But this issue is what will plague sales of this car for the USA.
So much this, will be getting one soon but not having ventilated seats and remote start on this car blow my mind... this is a summer weekend car for me. I’ll be damned if I don’t want to start my car after it sits in the sun to cool it all down.
I hope they add these two features in the years...
Currently I love carpro stuff I usually ceramic coat my cars with carpro UK 3.0 and use the reload every few months. Mostly just use their quick detail spray h2o2 to wipe the cars down.
But I paint correct with manzerna polishes before applying any of the above.
Honestly Im super impressed... This is literally 3 parts and a tune... Downpipe, Bolt on turbo, Meth system, and Tune. Thats some insanely cheap HP per $. 300whp-350whp for maybe $4k?
Granted those numbers are race gas. But 625whp on pump gas is no joke either. Now im curious about longevity
I love my V160, getrag killed it on that one. I doubt there is a modern equivalent to this day. I dont think the new supra necessarily needs one that good but if they did get it close that would be awesome.
Are you coming to the supra bbq this Saturday at clement park in Lakewood? If you get it soon enough you should try and make it.
Also check Facebook for the Rocky Mountain supra owner network.
Well I agree. If there is the option on any car currently on the market, I’m taking a manual no matter how good it is with an auto. 100% will choose manual.
Ya which is why I get what 70TTR is saying,
On a USA comparison scale Its more like this
MKV Premium/Base 3.0 Auto = MKIV NA Auto
MKV GRMN Auto? = MKIV TT Auto
AND If the MKV Premium/Base 3.0 Auto is what is considered to be the previous NA MKIV. Then I cant wait to see what the new revisions...
I think if I were to rank them it would be something like this (overall global models)
MKV Base 4cyl Auto = MKIV NA Auto
MKV Base 4cyl Manual = MKIV NA Manual
MKV Premium/Base 3.0 Auto = MKIV TT Auto
MKV Premium/Base 3.0 Manual (doesnt exist...yet) = MKIV TT 6 speed
MKV GRMN (probably limited...
At least the current base MKV Variant is actually quite good as auto and easily modifiable. The old NA MKIV Auto was horrendous along with being slow. Only way to fix that car was bolt on turbos and a manual conversion which wasnt cheap.
Interesting they talk about an S58 Manual. That variant will probably never happen until someone makes it themselves but god damn I would pay anything for that variant from toyota, In RSP Color.
