Unfortunately, there is a difference between loud and good. I'm pretty confident a muffler delete will make your car plenty loud.. but not really sure how good it will sound. I just changed my AWE touring from non-resonated to resonated because the addition of a sports cat made it not just a lot...
It's so funny how these cars are spec'd around the world. In Australia, we can only get Alcantara seats in our highest spec cars - for an additional cost. So we can have Alcantara seats; all the safety features; a HUD and the premium audio system. Wild.
Mostly just had it lying around and had nothing better to do this morning. I figure it will help with both as well as tone down the exhaust note on the freeway, maybe.
Apart from feeling nicer in the hand and (for my money) looking a lot better, I think it's much of a muchness, really. Does it feel better? Maybe.. but at the very least I don't think it makes it feel any worse. It doesn't turn it into a Porsche/Honda box, that's for sure. ?
Before I stick my DME in a box and send it off to FEMTO, I was wondering what prep, if any I should consider. New spark plugs seem to be a common recommendation. I also figure disconnecting the battery prior to pulling the DME.
Would it be prudent to update to the latest iStep first?

I have this exhaust and with a stock DP it's simply the best. Sound is exotic and so much better than all the raspy Chinese/Japanese crap. Good luck with sale.
PS: Have you considered converting to the resonated mid-pipes? When I put a sports cat on it got too loud but after swapping in the...
I think a blind A/B test is needed as sound is so subjective. My MY23 sounds pretty good - particularly after the Tadda mod. It's not stellar, but its far from the worst OEM stereo I have heard.
Of the diffuser? I don't think so. I might have to get a pipe extension manufactured but I don't think AWE can do it.
Hahaha.. Trust me, you can definitely hear it, though!
As this seems to be the defacto Australian thread, I thought I'd spam some items I have put up for sale locally, if anyone needs what I have and wants to save on shipping.

For sale is an OEM Toyota Reverse Light - Toyota Part Number 81480-WAA01. This is the European version of the lower reverse light which functions as a rear fog light as well as a reverse light. I believe it requires a special loom for it to function with USDM cars but I don't really know...
For sale is a YISO carbon fiber rear bar/diffuser. This diffuser has been on my car for nine months and was clear coated with Gtechniq Crystal Serum Ultra ceramic eight months ago. It is essentially a replica of the stock diffuser but in carbon fiber.
I was never quite happy with the fitment -...
