What a fuckwit. ? Easy way to lose money and like you said, even easier for you to dodge a bullet!
Here in Australia, each and every time I drive the Supra, I get positive vibes. Last drive I had a BMW driver roll down his window and ask me to rev it, to which he pulled the Christian Bale nod...
I actually saw a black NISMO Z today and I was actually quite impressed. I think it had bigger wheels fitted but as someone who openly dislikes the regular Z, colour me impressed.
Would I take it over a Supra? Yeah, no. ?
I went for a long drive today and I can 100% say that the rev matching is complicit in my 1-2 shift problem. With rev matching off for the majority of the drive, I had zero dodgy shifts. As soon as I turned rev matching back on, the hesitation and poor shifts returned at random as per usual. My...
I can't speak for BM3 but once it's flashed and happy, the MHD OTS maps are fine - I'm running Stage 2, 98RON. Flashing does have its quirks though. After every flash I get weird errors appear on the iDrive screen like oil and tyre pressure errors. It's mildly annoying but they go away after a...
Clearly you don't have the same issue - my fourth gear engagement is fine, for example. And I'm not being nitpicky: The shift in my Supra is just plain bad some of the time. It's not necessarily the mechanical gear action, it is the entire shift that is borked - right through to how the power...
Yeah, I don't even know. ? I turned the rev matching off a few days ago (again) and haven't had a problem since. Personally I think its software - Probably related to the throttle hesitation some people have also experienced. Maybe switching rev matching on/off resets it in some way for a...
After months of having the CDV deleted, I think it's all a bit of a placebo. The only thing that actually improves the shift experience for me is turning off the automatic rev matching function. Is this improvement facilitated by the CDV delete? Maybe?
Still better than owning an automatic. ?
I'm learning restraint. ?
It was up for $350 USD + Shipping. Offer was $250 inc. shipping from Australia to the US. I have no issue with people lowballing.. as long as they can accept a measured (and in this case darn right gentle) response.
Having said this, it is entertaining to see some...
I'm not sure what's funnier. The lowball offer; the offence taken at me sending a crying with laughter emoji in response or the non-emoji follow-up requiring some time to formulate in his mind. As suggested in the screenshot, item is now sold!
I have had this issue since day one. CDV is a placebo. I'm tuned now but with the stock turbo and the issue persists. I agree that sometimes the change is perfect but other times it's just dog shit. It feels like you're a learner driver and you somehow fucked up the gear change, except you...
Mate.. they're all special. And as soon as production ends next year they will all be even more special. If anything, you should probably be grateful that like us in Australia, the actual proper Final Edition isn't making an appearance there because that would relegate all Supras (including...
FYI Every <insert your favorite> edition in North America has been an appearance package. Why is everyone surprised or shocked? It's been standard procedure for the last five years, lol.
