I can't agree enough. In all honesty, I was seriously debating trading the car for an M2 but even after only a few days of installing the Awe exhaust, I've just enjoyed driving the car a whole lot more. I know it's just adding some volume and a nice tone but it has really changed the whole...
My installer talked me out of installing the Track Edition and while I'm very happy with the Non-Resonated Touring, I can only imagine what the Track sounds like!
Interesting. Is it 100% fixed? What I mean is, is that if you physically get the change right, does the car respond with 100% accuracy on the 1-2 gear shift?
I've been trying to isolate it but I can't. Quick/slow/under load/casual/straight line/in a turn.. it doesn't matter. Every now and then the car just hates on me and my shift is shit. And every now and then, for no reason at all, sometimes it just works perfectly.
For me it feels like...
I'm much the same.. I have done around 3,000km with no slipping issues. And yes, that 1st to 2nd gear shift is horrible. I personally haven't seen any evidence to suggest it's the CDV other than the usual, "I always remove the CDV from my cars" argument.
My current car has a CDV and everything...
I got a "Is that a new one?" followed up by "How much do they go for?" last night. After I told the guy the price he said, "Is that all? They look a lot more expensive than that!" lol.
When you opened the MHD app, were you connected to the adapter? I know when I first connected to the adapter and then opened the (latest) MHD app, it automatically prompted me to update - nothing worked properly before I did that.
Maybe your adapter is up to date?
At any rate it sounds like...
Just a heads-up to all the Aussies.. if you are disappointed with the way your cars sounds, get an after market exhaust. I had the AWE Touring Non-Resonated exhaust installed and holy shitballs! This exhaust really wakes the car up: It audibly burbles and crackles now (particularly on...
Had the AWE Non-Resonated Touring exhaust installed at the back.
And the BimmerTech Front Parking Camera installed on the front.
The AWE exhaust is fucking mint. Looks and sounds great.. it's a proper sports car now. I was a little apprehensive of how big the tips were but I think they...
Maybe we don't have that in Australia either but if we don't, what's making the phone so damn hot?
Meh. I disagree. Its a design fault. Like the other things I mentioned, the car will operate with all of these faults (even the flat tyre, albeit not well) but it's all good - keep using that USB...
Right after they fix the wind buffeting and the "functional" fake vents; missing climate control sync and missing tachometer in the HUD.
Rumor is that the line manager responsible for the HUD balls-up was involved in a Tarantino-esque Seppuku incident at one of the Toyota's board meetings...
Honestly, it's this kind of backwards thinking that causes these idiotic problems. I mean, why fix the wind buffeting problem when you can just never open your windows at speed.. or why not add functional vents when the aftermarket will solve this problem for owners.. or hell, why even fix a...
Can confirm.
Awww. ?
They don't care mate. Your brand new car still has wind buffeting issues that were there four years ago.. maybe stick that in the survey too.
