You mean the plate behind the rotor? Very well could have been, I did also see a distinct line/circle on the front of the rotor which could indicate some debris stuck in the caliper? Apologies in advance if I didn't understand you, not very familiar with all this.

Was driving on the road and all of a sudden my car started screeching very loudly. Pulled over into a parking lot to record a video of it, and heard a loud clank/snap after putting the car in park. Anyone else recognize this or know what it may be? Had the car towed to get looked at, wasn't sure...
