I think I'm going to rattle my stealer's cage on Monday and ask them what's going on with mine. The Toyota AU website is still in 2022 mode and without confirmation of the Australian specs I figured shooting for the GTS was a safer bet. And HUD. ?
And I know I'm in the minority but I quite like...
Not sure how relevant it is, but in a previous car I had, I was experiencing a buzzing sound from one of my speakers with certain songs. After a massive investigation, it turned out that one of the speaker mounting screws was lose and caused the buzzing sound at certain frequencies. Annoying af!
I saw that too. My understanding is that in markets other than the US, all manual Supras will receive red badging. In Australia we don't have "special editions" we just have two grades: A Supra GT and a fully loaded Supra GTS. I believe these loosely conform to the US 3.0 base and 3.0 premium...
What kind of increases in hp and torque can one expect from a stock car tuned to run 93 petrol (In Australia we call it 98 from what I can tell) exclusively?
I ordered some parts from RHDJapan a few days ago and they seem to be fairly cheap and have stock. I ordered a Blitz Sway bar and it came in at around $300AUD including shipping.
? It's just marketing. They'll have flash new diagrams to show how they have accounted for the targa's assumed reduced safety and we'll all rejoice. And it will even be x% more rigid too. Don't believe the hype!
Thanks for the details! I'll be adding this to the manual so I'll have to wait and see but it was really helpful to read your experience with it - I wouldn't have through you could get away with out removing the bumper for example. Thanks again!
Wait what? Congratulations.
EDIT!
Ignore my previous comment. It turns out that along with a failry non-descript message, Sto-n-Show did eventually provide an image attachment.. here is the Australian mount folks!
If doesn't meet Australian standards lol, but hey, a Ford mechanic provided...
