The factory TCM has maps just like the factory ECU does. This is a big deal. You know how shifts feel different in sport vs normal? This lets us have complete control, I'm sure there will be experiments with two-step/launch control as well.

LOL. My aim has always been shit. Magna Steyr also manufactures the Z4, so they're both knock-offs, in the same vein that Foxconn manufactures the iPhone (well, Foxconn and others).

But that's not what knock-off is. It's a genuine Z4 manufactured by BMW.
