    I'd assume, that given customs issues with declaring value, insurance through Visconti/PPE is happening through their business insurance, not through shipping insurance. DHL requires the customs value to match insurance value- and we know this isn't happening.

    Yeah - I've heard about the carrier bearing blowing out on high HP cars, but I wouldn't expect it out of yours. Really surprising.

    Well, for starters, you have to source a B58 ECU.. which is hard. Shipping is hard also, because 2x the weight in both directions. Then the fee to clone. There's also 2x the risk. Two ECUs getting lost vs. one. I YOLO'd it with shipping and scoured for a compatible ECU.

    I was not. Just set to Map 0 and disconnect the OBD port plug and you should be good to go.

    It's about reading the data on it, not writing to it. They don't give a flying fuck if you put a Haltech in it. It's all about protecting IP. AI, Self-Driving, autonomous driving, etc.

    All new cars are going to suffer the same fate. It's not a Toyota/BMW things, it's the industry changing. It's done at the hardware level by Bosch. BUTTTT I agree with ya.

    All 2020s are tunable, some very early 2021s are, but you have to check the ECU date on those.
