If you're sticking with JB4, all you need is Fuel-It to measure your ethanol content, and you can run E20-E30ish without meth. You can get up to E40 with meth. Both on stock fuel system. Fuel-It is not @visconti's flex fuel kit. The tune will not magically change with varying ethanol contents...
It all depends on your goals. Are you going to want port injection? Ecutek. Meth? Ecutek. Big turbo? Ecutek. Nitrous? Ecutek. Want a tune by Botti/Visconti/Payn? Ecutek. (There are exceptions to all these things, it's just a general rule).

This isn't an issue with the car, BMWs, or anything else. This is just the nature of wireless charging. Throw your phone on your wireless charging mat at home, stream spotify, and ping GPS every 4 seconds. You'll see the exact same behavior.
The shifts are the same speed but there is a 50-100ms lag from the paddle to the ECU. On the stock turbo I tried to shift at 55-5600RPMs, because I wanted the shift to happen at 5700rpms or so.
