Yup! Spot on.
Doesn't really matter. They are mechanically identical. The only thing to look for is the color you want, and as you mentioned, interior options.
Absolutely does.
Again, they're mechanically the same. Aside from color (and that... umm.. questionable A91-CF option), they're...
Once you solve the major traction issues (a good tire + a good launch) you're cringing as you're building boost while the tree lights up. My best pass of the season (low 11s) I was absolutely terrified. Once I saw my 60' I packed it up for the season until my built axels showed up. STILL...
The car should have absolutely no problems at NASA track day. I'd expect to have an absolute blast. I'd argue that most 2.0 amatures will do about as well as 3.0 amatures. The 2.0 is light, and handles really well. I see no reason not to give it a go and have some fun.
They're going to blame the radials if they're still on there. These axels like to break. I know of axels snapping on drag radials with a modest tune on an 11.5 second car (at the drag strip).
@Sereph102889 Don't forget about cooling.
Methanol gives a massive amount of cooling and can significantly reduce IATs. More pulls with consistantly lower IATs is better for track days or hot lapping.
Yes- this is bad.
This data would be stored in the ECU, that is.. no longer in the car. So.. this is unlikely.
But definitely don't commit warranty fraud. There could maybe possible be a legit use for swapping in the old ECU, something like, "my headlights got foggy." or "the leather is...
It shouldn't, given the ECU is that old, but you'll need to check it for sure. @Marshall@ViscontiTuning I think can give you a little information on how to do that.
