This basically applies to any OTS tune. JB4 can be used reliably and safely, and you can tune it. I'm not going to lose mine when I finally get unlocked. It's a solid tool, user adjustable, on-the-fly map switches, etc. JB4 is just a tool. Use it right, and you won't grenade anything.

I haven't dyno'd but I'm told others with a similar (E/Meth) setup are around 500hp/550tq. One of these days I'll dyno it. It's quick. I know some folks are working on a BEF flash that works -with- the JB4 for the 2021 once it's more easily unlockable. I'll go this route. Really just need to be...
You can make all the adjustments in the app yourself. Asking around on Social media is the way to find a JB4 tuner. I don't think there's anyone that wouldn't vouch for Jesse DaBears. He's done hundreds of cars.
You can get a general 'yes this is ok I guess' from having Terry or Steve from BMS...
Exactly. It actually feels better than stock. Stop and Go/City traffic is better on the pedal. If you don't want power, don't use it. If you want power, it's there for ya.
Ehh, depends on how you drive. The JB4 will display your trims. Keep an eye on this (esp under boost). Reading your logs is good, paying someone else to read your logs is better.
I was just answering OP's question
It's true on all cars, because ethanol contains less energy than conventional fuels. Source 1, Source 2. Source 3
I just added sources because I didn't want this to turn into an argument. I love all of you, but I love science more.
Edit:
I didn't read...
I think this is right. If you're running a JB4, buy the Fuel-It kit. The Fuel-It wires directly into the JB4 so you can see the read on your JB4 gauges. JB4 does not auto-tune based on this reading.
I have a locked 2021, run a JB4 w/ Fuel-It and Meth, tuned by @DaBears. I usually run E40-E45...
Na - I like knowing where every penny of my money goes. I keep insanely detailed spreadsheets of every single cent I spent. On everything. Probably going back a decade now. Rarely is more than a dollar or two unaccounted for each year.
I should have been an accountant.
