That sounds generally right. It's probably also the "least detectable" mod you can do. Reverting to stock is a breeze. Out of curiosity, which one did you have in mind?

Throws a CEL, doesn’t limit power. It’s pretty hard to get the car into limp mode. A DP won’t do it.

I think $1200 mass produced actually sounds pretty close to right. OP here is talking wholesale, but we all know that’s irrelevant in this industry.
