I can take a picture next time the cars out but I used 7/8" breather for the PCV and 1/4" for the CCV (I'm still using the Mishi CCV catch can so breather was placed on the exhaust) I removed a couple of the oem lines and capped anything else not being used.
I don't need to track a car in order to understand simple math... if everything else is the same the only difference in tires are the sidewall going from 19's to 18's. Also, if you sticking with same overall diameter, typically there will be very little difference in cost.
I would go for these in a heartbeat if you offered them in 18"
I disagree. There are way more 19" tires available and are priced similarly to 18" if you can find same tire. The only performance reason someone would go to 18" is for the sidewall.
Drainplug first (didn't measure).. after about 15min I capped it and added new through the refill plug. Once it started oozing out, I started the car, ran it through the gears, and while running - in park, went back under and topped it off. In total it took close to 7 quarts.
I daily a 15' Avalon and changing the oil in that is a pain.. I would happily change the oil in a dozen Supra's before I would change the Avalon's one time.
I took the opportunity to switch out fluid type when installing a new trans cooler. Only 8k miles so didn't find it necessary to drop the pan and no need to disconnect lines.. just drain and refill.
Not difficult at all just messy and took some time.
Add on shipping, VAT, and converted to US dollars, it'd be all of 10k for us in the states.. but I think you're right, money aside I can't see it making that great of a difference for an issue that looks to be subjective.
I thought I had horrible bumpsteer at one time.. turns out I blew a rear...
As a daily I might feel differently however I like the tradeoff.. Also, it's not as drastic as you might think. It livens the car up with little to no added vibration or discomfort (depending on road quality) SPL says you can go a long time between bushing replacement and when it's time to...
That is a downside to E85.. I have to fill up every couple days, just driving around town. I'd be interested in a 20gal fuel cell if anyone is making them!
Would like to add? Built transmission, axles, roll cage, carbon hood, 17" welds
Dashcam would be nice. I've seen some sh*t, wishing I caught it on camera.
