How quickly did you get the rebuilt turbo once it went in? Have you noticed any issues since? Seems like they know what the issue is and know how to keep it from happening again.
There is a Motec plug & play kit already on the market. If I had an A91 I'd have one by now.. fortunately, however, my ECU was unlockable!

I had the same issue just the other week after I replaced coilovers with KW's and did everything you did with no success. Eventually, mine cleared itself after 50 miles or so with a couple trips lasting 20+ miles.. I honestly don't get it but recommend driving it around awhile longer.
That's great! Do you know if he would be interested in doing remote tuning?
Unless I'm missing something, this is still just a plug and play option. Nice option though.. I might've gone for these over the KW's if I knew they were a thing.
You'll probably have to go aftermarket if you want that feature and KW is the only brand to allow for any sort of electronic adjustment. I'm using their plug & play kit so I'm stuck with whatever logic came on the car.
My sentiment exactly. Give me function over form any day..
If someone came out with a version that removed the center section, leaving the bottom side totally ducted and mostly open, I'd buy one today.
Don't forget pads. If you're wanting a two-piece OE style rotor, you'll be about 2,500 in parts. If you don't mind single piece rotors, you'll be less than 1,000 for something comparable.
Have the alignment checked since most are out of spec off the lot. Other than that it's incredibly easy to have the tires replaced with some "grand touring - old man" tires. Also, dynamat can reduce road noise up to 20db!!
I have this setup and had occasional rubbing with the power brace that could be heard through the car - really annoying
I just added a couple washers to push the brace far enough away.
Coincidental.. Your car isn't going to produce smoke because you removed the cat. A catalytic converter might aid in burning oil before exiting the exhaust pipe, producing less smoke, but most likely you were burning oil before the removal and didn't realize it.
Not sure why someone would think your exhaust setup had anything to do with a little smoke lol.. It's not out of the norm since these cars consume some oil. Just keep an eye on it.
