I would NOT run e85 without going to port. e50 pushes the limits of the stock fuel system so e85 would destroy it. I remember hearing early on some people having to replace their factory pumps when running e85 and they're 1200 each! Definitely not worth it imo.
I think Titan is coming out with a turn-key kit in the next week or two - I think it's port injection piggyback with a surge tank, low pressure pump and fuel lines to support E98.
I have a pure headed my way.. people are making 750+whp with proper gas and tune using pure800.. that's roughly 250 more than I'm putting down currently and this car is already too much for the road lol
I'm sure the HKS will be solid (and expensive) however for the money pure is already maxing...
They're coming out with their own turbo solution as well.. I'm guessing the release dates will be close to one another since an external BOV makes more sense on an aftermarket turbo setup.
Just picked up the same heat shield.. guessing the pure800 will produce more heat?? hoping between the meth injection, csf heat exchanger and koyo aux radiators there shouldn't be any issue with heat soaking or IAT's.. not sure what else can be done
How was their customer service? I reached out to them and heard nothing back.. They're about an hour drive from me and need a fine tune on meth/pure800 running e50.
After driving the supra as my daily for about a month, I returned to the avalon and had the same impression.. felt like I was driving a square box 10' off the ground.
That's exactly what I'll be doing. Already did the first change and have the second kit sitting on the shelf.. also picked up a transmission service too and will be doing that at 25k then every 40k thereafter.
Service kits I'm using (if interested):

What is your definition of ragging? You're getting hung upon the wrong part and oddly enough taking it personally.. No disrespect was meant. Just making the point that ignoring service on the transmission would be a bad idea since just a little bit of research shows that it's meant to be...
