Service kits that consist an oil pan, filter kit, and trans fluid can be found all over the place for this ZF transmission. It's suggested the initial change be done at 35k and then every 50k miles thereafter. I'm with Phantom on this, don't be cheap and just do the oil change.

Totally agree. People who are ragging on these cars, which is most if not all people on here, should be doing much more than what the owners manual calls for.. I'm not drag racing my car however was planning on doing a flush around 30-50k mi but instead I'll be taking your advice to drop the pan...

I ran the dp prior to installing the mf exhaust. The catted dp made a large improvement in performance with some difference in sound while the opposite is true for the exhaust.. I think more gains can be had with the magnaflow but would need to be specifically tuned for it.

No CEL's.. using protune piggyback and couldn't be happier.. err that was until I ordered the pure800 so now I'll have to flash. Protune's for sale if interested.

Had a friend help me with the install.. Started with the mufflers and haven't tried the straights yet.. also have a catted downpipe and thought it sounded pretty loud as is. Very deep sounding exhaust note - not at all raspy.

Just installed both and both systems use green. not what I thought it'd be..

Blue is for the heat exchanger and green is for the radiators.. it should be obvious which one goes where when you pull off the fill caps.

I plan on doing the install this weekend. I'll try and take some pics as I go.

You will need both green and blue. The heat exchanger and aux radiators operate on two different systems. I picked up the blue (bmw branded) from ecs and will be buying the green from a local autozone.

I think most people throw it into auto after launch. Figure the computer would know best..

A gallon of meth lasts me roughly two tanks of gas, give or take.

I don't see any benefit having dual exhaust.. that on top of looking more like the previous gen?? Thought I'd have to wait forever on Tomei's so I just went a different direction.

If you plan on setting up meth injection, it would help a bit out with carbon deposits. Also, Titan came out with a Pure 800 kit that will include port injection, which should help further.. would be a perfect excuse to upgrade!!

Yeah, and if I remember correctly there are two different sized mesh baffles.
