I don’t have any information to add but more of a curiosity. What’s the turn in sharpness and tactility like with such a potentially wide tire? Is there a loss of feedback when turning or changing lanes in upper double digit or lower triple speeds?
Major props for swapping. Laos, what did you use for the ceramic coating? Doing my wheels soon in a brushed silver and I already know dust is gonna be a pain.
Negativo on that, once the claim was started insurance will see it through and will only use OEM parts, liability and safety reasons. I had this chat with them about a week into the claim and they explained how they go about it.
I can’t imagine to think what the “feels like” was on Monday for you. Been some weird weather years I swear, these oddities are becoming the norm. I was meant to head that way for some work but the plans fell through and I don’t think I’m all that upset. Do still have my eyes on the Sequoia...
Sorry this happened, on that note, welcome to the club. Happened a month ago, still no car cause front bumpers are backordered so I continue to wait. As far as repairs my insurance is covering all damages and there were a few shops in my area that could work on it.
It's odd to explain, they're the same but different in some ways. Launch control on the 20k tires had a little slip but with the boost loaded it got away well after that and no slipping beyond that initial moment. And it's entirely up to what you're in the mood for really, I don't launch control...
I remember reading about these and doing the math when I was considering PS4S as well. The additional contact these have over the 275 is 0.6 inches which is pretty substantial. Still though for me it’ll be PS4S when the time comes but these are gonna keep you happy, and above all, safe.
I'm not strong willed when it comes to this car please don't tempt me Lol. No but I will get to wheels eventually, car is in the shop after someone hit it and once I get it back I've got a few things to do. Wheels soon though!
