Yeah, stopped scrolling really fast when I saw this. Now I'm just racking my brain trying to figure out what they came out of. Almost look like they could pre-date the regular use of side impact airbags, and have a manual height adjustment lever..
Mark my words, the manual MKV will NEVER be worth less than an identical example with the automatic. The rarity and enthusiasm factors alone will ensure these stay in higher demand forever. There's over 23,000 AT models running around in the states, compared to less than 2,200 manuals. Autos...
I don't recall anyone EVER giving a guarantee of no CEL, as it's impossible to do such a thing with a simulator. It's just that they earned a reputation for being one of two on the market which people had fantastic luck with.
I agree the price was steep, but they obviously found tons of people...
Armytrix owner here, bought mine used and now it's got about 15k combined miles on it. Works flawlessly and zero quality issues. This is really odd for them to describe it like that..almost like a personal vendetta going on here..

I'll say it again, I literally bought all three of these the day I got my car. Took one good look at the nose and was like "yeah, no, those aren't gonna stay perfect more than a year." Having used two of them over the years, I replenished my stock and have the trio in my garage loft right now...
I'll say the same thing here I did on FB.. The idiot writing the Forbes article refers to the B58 as being a Twin-Turbo engine TWICE! Forbes should stick to what they do best; putting criminals & fraudsters on the cover..which shows just how much homework they do before publishing a story...
It's 53381-WAA02, and with an MSRP of $22.44, you were right on the money. Should be 1-3 business days to get your hands on one from a local SET dealer.
