$100 says it is, which means he's been on here reading everything that was said about him.
The real question is: does he have the balls to publicly say anything about it?
EDIT: I see he's been selling some parts on here recently too. Probably needs some extra coin for the legal fees ?
I'm disappointed, because I thought this was gonna be about sweet wake vortices visible in the mirrors during heavy rainfall and the associated spray at highway speeds...
Removing the inlet was annoying as hell, and that bottom right bolt has to be removed blindly by feel. See the telescopic mirror in the tool picture? That's the only way I could spot said inlet bolt.
That arrangement of five individual tools you see was the single thing I could use to...
The combination of these fucking murderous mutant creatures everywhere, and highly restrictive laws on the firearms one would utilize to kill them, must make for an interesting daily existence.
Easy is a subjective term here, as some people will find it a big challenge. I kept the charge pipe in place, but the turbo inlet needed to come off. Without plenty of tech experience & a full selection of professional tools, it would have been much more difficult to replace.
Auction ended at $60k with no sale. Reserve was closer to $65k.
It is a good price, just not in my unique situation. I have the coin no trouble, but with my Toyota discount, I can get a new 2024 for less than most used 23s are going for. The only MKV I'd pay $60k for is a 45th. I love these...
I did my part by wrecking one. You're welcome.
Sotheby's guy just called me out of the blue, and I have a solid idea what the reserve is. It's a fair number, but when it comes to this one, including the buyer's fee and transport cost to where I live...I'm out.
