running the exact setup you mention-- about 3 track days and 2 autoX events on them. they perform great until the end of the sessions. PS4S get eaten quickly if you're driving hard-- i suspect at least -3° front camber is needed to help. for that reason i skip a session or/and don't run the last...
by his tire choice it seemed he wanted a straight line setup, no?
i can’t imagine anyone doing twisty backroads on 555RIIs….. right OP? *looks at OP disappointedly*
@Vinny softer suspension -> shift of weight to rear -> more traction
he has it correct
for drag packs, the common street f*** boy setup down here is H&R front springs, stock rear springs
i'm on 300tw (also no camber plates, -2 all around)
other two supra locals are on nankang CRS and RT660s on their 18" setups
edit: there used to be a third psychopath running 200tw front 300tw rear but haven't seen him in a few months
i don't think i've met someone that drives in normal mode in their MT! lol
code to start in sport, configure sport individual to meet your needs? such as sport engine, normal dampening? would be how i'd tackle this
start with 200tw, camber plates, and front sway bar & endlinks. i personally run faster times having my suspension on the normal setting rather than sport.. coils can wait
idk what he's on about, that doesn't exist
tcu tune has a fix: https://www.xautomotive.com/products/xhp-enduser-combo-flash-license-map-pack?srsltid=AfmBOoqovE1oa8_l3L9vuSjxqkievIsAohLLgtNdKc4AKaPZX7MJvsgl&variant=42740852654304
reminder, it'll only drive you crazy if you allow it. create a routine to turn it off, just like it's a routine to turn on the car or put on a seatbelt. it's all good
no need to worry about this. toyo/bmw won't report to your insurance provider. this technology is for emergency SOS and whatnot. carry on, have a hot chocolate
