As far as I've ever known, the torque is the same. You risk damaging the threads by over-torquing. Also, what have you done to @Mimosa 's avatar?!

I don't see how much it can matter between 4", 4.5" or 5" on these cars, when they all have to neck down to 3.15" in order to fit the OE size mid-pipe about 20" downstream from the turbine housing.
