You're telling me! I ordered a EURO spec tail lamp, and my Supra tech and I tried our hardest to make it work, but in the end we realized that between the USDM wiring and BCM coding, we just couldn't make it work properly. Friggin' sucks to admit defeat in this case.

Can confirm, the JDM and/or EURO spec taillamps ARE NOT plug and play. They plug in, but the proper functionality isn't there, and it's a long story as to how and why.

You must mean MY2020 vs MY2021. Steering is re-tuned, suspension re-tuned, rear bump stops changed, additional front chassis bracing, different cylinder head/manifold/turbo, different pistons, standard large infotainment screen, engine tuning tweaked (less burble too), trans tuning tweaked...
