I have option 4, or at least something that looks exactly like that on my car and I'm very happy with them. color matches and they do what it says on the tin.
bought them on ebay last year for around 60 bucks as far as I remember
here you go : https://www.ebay.com/itm/274897028488
it's a Camry upgrade badge.
On the plus side at USD 32,5 it's a fraction of the price of the ThicWhips badge  the main reason I didn't go for TW badge is that they are always sold out, and have a patience of a two year old..
I took...
as far as I know (don't shoot me if that's not correct) the backing plate on the ThicWhips badge is completely flat, the oem badge I got has a curved "plate"/underside and fits the curvature of the bumper perfectly
it's a rear oem Toyota upgrade badge for a Camry, same size and (12cm), more important, exactly the same curvature as the Supra front badge. The only modification needed is to remove the locator pins as they are different.
Finally had some time on my hands so spent a few hours on the car on Saturday. Installed my solution to the front Toyota badge, the rear spoiler and the Maxton v2 splitter. I'm very happy wit the results, I think the badge is a great improvement and it matches the flat black wrap I have on the...
another option could be to stop by a tire shop and take one of the guys with you for a testdrive, if they confirm it's the tires you could suggest to buy a new set if they can guarantee it will solve the issue and if not that they will have to take them back ?
Both of these suggestions are...
i know it's a long shot but you could try stopping by a beemer dealer and explaining the problem, if you're lucky and they are customer focused they could lend you a set of wheels for a test drive ?
they are bound to have used wheels around so it shouldn't big problem for them, but you never know..
if you have buddy who owns a newer bmw or are close to some of the guys in here you could try swapping the wheels and going for a test drive, if it's the tires you should notice a change in 2 minutes :)
the sound didn't come across in the video, but you turned the fan completely off right, not just the AC unit?
hmmm... since it's not speed dependent it can't be the wheels or gearbox or the rest of the drive train, I'm assuming it's rpm independent as well? or does it increase with engine rpm...
same here, mine is also on auto, but I did adjust the "intensity" during the really cold months and discovered that the sound changed. hope that's the issue so you can claim it at the dealer
it was probably there when stationary but to faint to hear, but it was really noticeable at speed (I have the same kind of OCD when it comes to sounds in the car ;) )
Yes it diapered when I turned the fan off, So I was thinking it was the fan itself but it turned out it wasn't
hi, try turning the blower fan all the way up and down, does that change the intensity ?
I had a whisteling sound in the car and the dealer traced it to a faulty door seal which was letting the air out creating the sound. It only happened after a a 5-10 min drive when the engine got hot enough...
if you are just looking for sound it works on a bluetooth connection, I'm using spotify in the car and it works (usually), the song title shows up on the display and I can even skip to next/previous song form the toggle switch on the wheel
I have 10mm spacers and ended up with 35mm thread length bolts, the oem bolts are 27mm so 35 is 2mm short but the next step up was 40mm so I din't want to go for that.
in general you should add as much thread lengt as the spacers you mounting so, if you can get hold of them, 37mm for 10mm...
