hi guys, just to update you on my old thread. I washed the car last weekend and today it's going back to the dealer for yet another set of rear lamps.. they are all cracked again, after just one year on the car... not very impressed, again..

Did you try to find and install the Toyota download manager (I'm in front of the pc now so I checked what it's called ;) ) you have to have that installed before you can start thinking about updating the maps.

There is, you need to find and install toyota map dowloder (I don't have my pc here now but it's called something like that)then login using your connected credentials, you will need a 32 or 64gb usb drive and some time, the download is slow... when finished you simply plug the usb drive in the...

If you have the online services active you can download updated maps onto a usb drive and then upload them to the car, unfortunately i no longer can

I guess I will have to?

shit... that's not the best news ? I can use my phone but I'm used to the idrive and I like so it wold be a pitty if they can't get this to work

Thanks! I hope so too.. Over here BMW runs free 3 year service for all online services, (I think Merc's are the same..) so my guess is that Toyota simply forgot about this, and now someone at Toyota is backpedaling the deal and trying to get this sorted out without spending to much money on...

Just a quick and frustrated update, two weeks in and still no solution. My case has apparently been given "the highest priority"... I wonder how long this will drag on and how long it takes them to resolve a low priority case if this is how fast a high priority case moves...

hi guys Just a heads up to all who have the 2019 model in Europe. Last Friday I got an email that my connected services are now discontinued after three years of service. So I lost all the online services such as live traffic, weather, USB map update and so on.. No prior warning of the service...

You can change it with Bimmercode to an animation instead of the Welcome screen, but you can't completely remove it as far as I know. From Bimmercode web page : Start screen The type of start screen that is displayed when the head unit starts up. Values: Animation Welcome screen Requirements...

my biggest issue with this mod is how the hell do you get in to the back seats?? on a premium the electric seats barley tilt forward enough to get a backpack in behind the front seats..:rolleyes:

love it! I did the same thing on mine, but it's not as visible on a nocturnal... should have gone for another color when I bought it... the everlasting wisdom of hindsight.. ;)

Cool, will probably code it in and use it in the winter when the car struggles with grip anyway (was running Normal mode all the time last winter, in the summer only Sport :)). Any idea why it doesn't allow you to switch back to ECO using the button? I mean Sport + is available using the button...

Hi guys Yesterday afternoon I modified my exhaust as well, and what an improvement!!! I mean I was expecting a bit more sound but this turned out so much better than I expected, the videos/sound clips don't do this mod justice! I did the mod "my self" as I have a very good welder at work who...

it's not that difficult to turn the car off, you simply push the "options" button at the rear of the infotament control wheel, it gives you two options "turn off display" or "turn off the car" edit ; this is with ignition in standby, not with ignition on. it's possible it will work then as well...
