went through your posts, i see you had bimmer remote coding add full screen carplay to your car
by my assumption, you need to visit the dealership to have some updates to your car, hence why you are not seeing road sign assist, while having the safety & technology pack
the safety & technology package is available for 2.0s
if you do not have the package, the front camera is probably for the standard features, like the pre-collision system
i have a question..
i was at a car meet two nights ago
i saw an MK5 supra
passenger door was open
but the door was being held by a metal sheet that had "Supra" lasered into it
no idea what part of the car it was holding on from
has anyone ever seen that?? the hell is that?
weren't you the one that failed to notice someone running an aftermarket downpipe on a supra in someone's youtube video? .. that you shared
you certainly browse the Z forum more than i do-- surprising you can't use the 'search' function, which is the same as we have on here...
"Alas, early in our testing, the Z’s suspension suffered damage after hitting a curb on Monticello’s tight switchback after the straight. Every other car hit that curb repeatedly for two full days without a problem, but it put the Z out of the competition almost before it started."
thanks for sharing, i enjoyed the article. they praised what should be praised, criticisms were accurate, etc. loved the amount of praise the Type-R and GR Corolla received
....... and the $53,000 Z Performance was out-performed by a $34,000 FWD Hyundai. beautiful day
sadness. would love this feature. to get into a car that's halfway to operating temperatures and a cool 60° inside, on a humid 94° regular Miami day..
it was very hard giving up a car that had remote start lol
these comments are not toward you, but about the video:
2020 is running a catless downpipe. evidence in comments and sound of his car, therefore
stock 2023 MT (382hp) vs [catted DP, no tune] 2020 AT (>332hp)
... they race weird. 2020 is also letting that thing rev passed 6500 rpms
got the link to the vid? :)
i ask because depending if in the USA or not, this would mean a stock 335hp MT vs a stock 2020 335hp AT, or 382hp MT vs 335hp AT
thank you @Todday1
100% stock suspension
correct assumption!
to add some transparency, i was planning on following that same advice, "get whatever you can up front", which i've read people go up to about -1.9°. will be buying camber plates very soon. also, thanks for the additional advice!
morning, all
look, i went through forums, i did research, so i'm asking this to conclude my research. fair enough, right?
(to be honest, the only straight-forward answer i found was zrk's street car alignment lol)
camber
front: -2.0° to -2.5°
rear: -2.3° to -2.5°
toe
front: 0.0° total
rear...
question!
in the near future i'll be going the same performance route (i will ask for various maps for daily/roll racing/stock for track)
how do you feel going 160ish mph on the 295s? car feels stable, no concern on reaching 160, decelerating, braking at high speeds, etc?
thanks
