  1. M340XI to Supra?

Its Chinese factory owner type stuff. I work directly with the owners son who is only 30 years old mind you. He also has a Aston Martin, and a supercharged 5.0L mustang. He recently sold his Lamborghini.
  2. M340XI to Supra?

My boss/friend drives a 2023 M8 grand coupe. I have driven that many times. I also used to own a 2013 M3 back 10 years ago. Have not driven a new M3 or M5 although I am sure the M8 is kind of like the M5. I am very experienced with BMW in general over the years of friends buying them and family...
  3. M340XI to Supra?

My parents have a 2023 M240i with the most updated BMW interior. The supra interior is more simple but it still has the same quality. Plus this is not your daily driver, its a car to have fun in. I would never want a 4 door luxury sedan as my weekend car lol.
  4. Official A90 Supra life cycle thread: updates, new variants, 2026 final model year?

That would be great and it makes sense seeing how the Supra does sell well. However I don`t believe we will see massive changes to the Supra due to cost of development. They already spent millions on the current setup and have BMW proven parts. But I could see non mechanical changes coming.
  5. Official A90 Supra life cycle thread: updates, new variants, 2026 final model year?

If Toyota was somehow able to keep producing cars at the 3rd party Magna Steyr plant I would think they would keep using BMW parts. There is just no way Toyota keeps the same chassis in production and switches to a new engine. Of course I highly doubt the supra in its current generation will...
  6. Remote Start feature by Femto

I remote start my car (not a supra) every single day in the winter. Very popular thing in the US and most Japanese and America cars have this feature for free or paid service from factory. I am also assuming people who live in very hot climates would like to turn A/C on via remote start. It...
  7. Supra facelift discussion thread

Its more than just sitting in them. Getting in and out without rubbing them would be near impossible.
  8. Loving new Supra. Early experience and questions

Yea get one of those larger dealerships near a large city/suburban area they probably see more supras in for service. I have a Toyota dealership in walking distance to my office no joke. But I would drive 15-20 mins to different one. The dealer I use always has supras coming in and import cars...
  9. Loving new Supra. Early experience and questions

In regards to service I would try bigger dealerships. They usually get more supras and service more. Also you might want to call to setup the appointments. I won`t recommend using indy shops if your car is under warranty either. But that`s just a personal opinion.
  10. No cats ticket

I think people are reading his question wrong. The question here is about no catalytic converter ticket, not about being pulled over for a loud car. I believe its very hard to get this ticket from a cop pulling you over. Typically a cop will send you do state ref (in Cali) for modded exhaust...
  11. Death of ICE cars

I notice a lot of people use the word "never" a lot. Clearly the world will not be using fossil fuels on a mass scale forever. Its not even possible with a finite supply of oil. Rather it takes 50 or 500 years is the only thing up for debate. Electricity seems like the best option for the short...
  12. Break-In Period Driving Habits

I really don`t even understand how people can follow the break in thing. Every performance car I ever owned I was so excited to floor it to redline leaving dealership. Having to wait a entire month (or longer) to floor a brand new car I just crazy to me.
  13. Oil Change for a stock Supra?

You have to remember often times people on the forums tend to be overkill with maintenance. I treat all cars the same once a year or when the car says its due. Did this on high end cars and lower end cars never once had any problems.
  14. News, Updates, and Discussions on next-gen A100 Supra

I would think Toyota would make a electric sports car. Rather its called a Supra or not is up for debate.
  15. The tech world faces what the rest of the business world knows - Loyalty/Family its not - Its just a job

Unless you are working for family or close friends I would think everyone should not expect loyalty from employer. With that said there still is a certain level of corporate politics you can play within a company to gain some degree of favoritism. Although I am sure its little harder in a remote...
  16. Manual or automatic?

I enjoy certain cars with manuals like corvettes or mustangs (owned both with manuals in past). But for European performance cars I will always pick the auto.
  17. What's after the Supra?

I had a M240i on custom order and let my parents take the car. It a better daily driver but you will be disappointed with steering feel, engine sound, touchscreens, and overall less specialness. But its still a great car and better fitted for colder places.
  18. Used car market predictions

I am totally good with crypto. But I just need to know which one we as people will put value on so I can buy and use it. Just because something is limited and efficient to use doesn`t give it value. That`s something a lot of crypto people can`t really understand. The technology appears to be...
  19. The Supra. What should have been // Share your thoughts

In my opinion a Toyota built by Toyota supra would have been a worse car overall. The B58 is the best mass produced 6 cylinder on the market in my opinion. Of course putting aside exotic or really high priced cars like the Ford GT or Porsche GT3. But I think Toyota could have built a decent...
  20. B58 vs S58

I can`t get past how bad the S58 sounds. The B58 is probably the best sounding 6 cylinder on the market.
