Probably because the former is just hearsay whereas the latter is a bit more concrete. If the media did report it on I bet Toyota would request them to take it down asap like with the leaked roadmap story. If they don't comply they could be faced with being black listed on future events, inside...

I wasn't thinking about the business side of things. I was more so wondering about any tidbits like a confirmation on their side, important dates to watch out for, production rates, will it come on both the 2.0 and 3.0 and so on.

Most likely 2023 will see the manual but the facelift probably won't happen until 2024.

So the 3.0 Z4 is getting a manual as well?

Wouldn't all that stuff be able from the Euro spec 2.0 Z4?
