I could be wrong but I thought the restart feature was driven from the transmission and not the starter - Look up “Hydraulic Impulse Oil System (HIS)”. I could be way off but this might be having issues in your trans? Edit: I was wrong, it seems this is just there to ensure the transmission oil...

I like to think I am on the more chill driver side but maybe I did make it weak with some launches, I ordered some SPL traction arms to hopefully reduce wheel hop in the future. I was very lucky, I simply rolled the car back into a parking spot and came back later with a trailer to tow it home...
