I got the Driveshaft Shop ones from a local speed shop named Boostin Peformance.
They had extra new ones from their drag car that they let go for $1700.00 out the door.
I also got their used carbon fiber driveshaft but not sure if I will end up using it or just sell it - to replace the...
Ah..nevermind - I got it. I wore some gloves and got a nice grip deep on the shaft near the diff and jammed in and out and it popped out and I fell on my butt.
Ok, got the bolt out with my new tool and a bit of prying - but now the fuckin axle WONT pull out at all - usually I have in the past had to get it past the snap ring using a pry bar it is just comes right out in other cars.
Any thoughts on how to get the axle out? Im trying to pull straight...
Next steps are to see if my new impact ratchet will work.
If that doesn't work, then the rotor, caliper, dust shield are coming off to let me get breaker bar access.
If the breaker bar breaks the head off the bolt, I'm bolting everything back up and trading the car in on a brand new Z06. :P
Thank you for your quick reply!
Did you take off the rotor and dust shield and/or shock to give yourself more room?
I am honestly afraid of snapping the head off the bolt with a breaker bar...
I have watched some videos and it seemed pretty easy, and I'm used to working on cars.
I hung...
I'm literally have this bolt to remove, but my impacts wont move it at all.
Is it reverse threaded? I haven't checked the manual yet....
I'm having to use extensions - I ordered a Milwaukee M12 Right Angle Ratchet Impact to maybe help get it out, my corded and battery impacts are just damaging...
Nice to see the cannon on your garage flag matches the cannon you put on that thing :)
You should look into body colored reflector deletes - totally changes the look of the car for being so subtle. Really wish we got the JDM bumpers without reflectors.
Seems low to me, but dynos are just a tool - looks like you only picked up 40hp and 30tq....
You should get a log and see if any issues with knock - what gas did you have in it?
You should also run it at the track and see what your trap speed is - that is a good indicator of power being made...
Oh I noticed that for sure - I went there in my Sienna to pick up some axles and a driveshaft and was like "how do customers get in/out of here without an issue?"
Thanks for that! I was also looking at URW Automotive in Crystal Lake and Boostin Performance in Hoffman Estates to do any aftermarket work for me if needed. Good to know there is one even closer as I am in Northern Lake County.
I have this on my car:

So nice to go to after being catless....no stink, no check engine light, etc
I did the oil change myself, but had to take my car to Fox Lake Toyota to do the break booster/DME recall.....
Toyota dealerships do not know what to do with these cars - its not a knock against any mechanic, but these cars are such outliers to the Toyota line up and require a totally different...
Do it - it will change your life :P

I honest to God haven't used a hose on any of my cars for about 15 years now.
I clean in my garage with a bucket of warm water, and (if needed for winter) a small garden sprayer to rinse the dirt down.
I thrown the rags in the washer on hot with detergent and no fabric softener and then hang...
