That do you mean by being on that car? You worked and crewed for RLL? BTW, I lived in Columbus for 20+ years before I moved to SW Florida in 1999. So I've been a RLL fan for a long...
I enjoy IMSA a lot, but F1 and IndyCar ar my real passions. The balance of power in IMSA makes for good racing, but it's so artificial and they keep changing it. So you are at the whim of the IMSA gods as to whether or not your brand will be competitive.
I've done a few Daytona 25 Hour races...
I love the different vents in the side of the hood. The ones on top of the hood are a bit much for me, but they look OK if you are doing track days and looking for that race car image.
Max never gives an inch to any other driver, and he feels that's the way F1 should be. But when anybody else fails to give him room (after all, he is the current driving champion) he gets all pissy and calls in in over the radio that 'so and so' cut him off, or bumped into him... or whatever...
I said nobody else is even close to 12 points. That's not made up, that's a fact. I wasn't talking history, I'm talking about current status.
Magnussen doesn't even drive in F1 anymore. So he really doesn't count as far as current point levels stand. But you go ahead and call me out all you want.
Has he really? He has points on his license from 5 other 'errors' in just the past 12 months! Nobody else is even close to having been penalized that much or that often.
Lando has only one penalty and it's 3 points just for not slowing down at a double yellow flag. He didn't intentionally hit...
All I have to say is Oscar drove a great race. Lando did as well... except in the first turn. Charles made the best of Max's tire troubles at the end. So did George, but the call by the Red Bull team to let George back through was premature... and according to the stewards, he wouldn't have been...
Anybody know who to contact about the July NASA track day at Barber Motorsports Park? I'm signed up and have most everything I need. I just want to see if there is anything they can tell me about how the event will run, will they have helmets to rent (mine autoX is an old 2010 Snell).
I drove...
That's an interesting idea. I can't say that I really noticed the road noise in my 2025 Supra. It's so much quieter than my 2021 Miata RFB was. But I do kind of like the idea of making the back area separate from the cabin. Let us know how well you think this works.
Yes, you can park along the Causeway. I Photoshop out the posts and rope that line the parking area. I'm always looking for cool places to take photos... and if I can include the Supra, all the better! I hope they have a photographer at Barber when I go for my track day.
I understand how you...

I guess that's too bad for you eh? McLaren will run away...
I don't take anything away from Max. He's a great driver. But he's not THAT good. IMHO, any of the 6 to 8 top drivers in F1 (given a handful of races, could drive the RB just as well as Max does. And BTW, Albon is rapidly losing ground to Sainz as he gets settled in with the new team and new...

Here is what George Russell had to say about Monaco as a race event. I pretty much agree with him. I might even make it a regular qualifying on Saturday and a some kind of handicapped qualifying on Sunday. Maybe do a combined time from 2 sessions where one is handicapped with added weight...
We all knew going in that Monaco is 85% Saturday qualifying and 15% Sunday race to just hold on to your position. I said that the mandatory 2 pit stops would NOT lead to any more on track passes (except for lapping slower cars) and maybe add a pass or 2 in pit lane (but who cares). The point is...
It's the only time Barber is on the NASA schedule, so I had no choice. I hope we can do homestead together sometime later in the year. I've been there as a photographer for an SCCA National weekend in January, but never as a driver.
F1 can be the best racing or the worst, it depends on what you want to see. The race on Sunday at Monaco can be a real snoozer. But qualifying today was fabulous!
Especially the top 5... OK, the top 6 as Hadjar, a rookie, in a Racing Bull, only 0.25 behind Verstappen in the Red Bull!!! That...
