There is always a risk of paint peeling off with the vinyl & clearbra when removed. I've seen this happen on factory paint.. or dealer repaired transportation damaged paint sold as new. :crazy: I would pass on vinyl wrapped cars even if I liked the color unless I have a roll of the same...

Looks good. On my Golf-R, I painted the quad tips using Duplicolor Engine Enamel 7 years ago. Still holding up well.. but then I don't drive the car all that much. :dunno: 😄

Just use the side of your foot to blip, not your actual heel. The Supra's pedals are fine as they are, just practice and keep at it. You'll get it eventually unless.. :crazy: auto rev match defeats the purpose of fun MT driving.

I think your car just needs to be driven more or put on a battery tender while not in use. I've had my Supra unlocked in my garage over 2 weeks no issue starting the next time. But that was after the car was fully charged with a battery tender. You can get one on Amazon for like $40.. man...

So the posts that were saying post-recall (for brake diaphragm) locked their ECU.. what was that about? Were they just confusing the above? I'm just going by what others posted.. as I am with your post.

Was that June 2020 or June 2021? I thought that was a 2021 and separate issue. Based on what I remember is people that had my year cars got the recall done and it locked the ECU. My question was in 2026 whether having the pre-recall ECU was still worth anything considering it appears people...

Because one can flash the ECU without doing the unlock maybe? wtf :crazy:

Thanks guys. I checked my VIN and the only recalls shown are the brake diaphragm exploding upon startup one :crazy: and the stupid headlight adjuster plug. So my car has not done the first recall (2nd one I already checked and it was fine on mine) as I defeated auto engine start/stop via...

So I heard BMW is recalling the Z4 for starter motor potential fire.. I wonder if our Supra's are going to burn up on its own too.. I do need a fire starter for my charcoal grill come spring.. :crazy:

Meh.. I searched online all over the place on how to do a coolant drain and fill on my 2020. I don't have a vacuum fill device and don't feel like getting showered by coolant..twice. but I also don't feel like taking my car to the dealer just for this. Can the Supra survive gravity fill...
