Interesting. I was made to understand that after their procedure your DME would essentially be the same as a 2020 DME, therefore you could simply flash any customrom items, or even use ECUTEK.
I drove a Lotus Emira last week and I have to say, for the first time in over 4 years, I am considering making a change. Anyone want to talk me out of it?
Selling my BMR VTA catch can. Turns out I dont need to go VTA for my power goals. Includes Oil Cap line. Comes with 2 brackets for different intakes and 2x 3/4" blocks off needed to run both the PCV and CCV lines. Brand new.
$450 FIRM
n 30 psi flat with DI though.
What power are you making on Ethanol (and what % E?)
Do you have the PCV ports in the head plugged? Are you running the full BMR can setup (PCV, CCV, Oil Cap)?
I have a pure900 waiting to go in. Going to run it with Nostrum S58 injectors, DS3 HPFP, some kind of LPFP, and flex. I assume that would put me around 30psi but thats just a guess.
I was concerned as I have a buddy with a pure 800 who blew his valve cover, so I figured id get ahead of it. But...
This has been done plenty of times now. A friend of mine over in Tampa did it.
You need the trans, valve body, and TCU. You can do the shifter as well.
2 people can handle the coding if not doing the shifter, 1 if also doing the shifter.
This is the way Im going when I slap the pure900 on. I...
Interesting. BMR specifically told me to block off the CCV line once I installed the PCV Pins, otherwise the CCV line would fill the can with oil (and its not needed once the PCV holes are blocked).
Thank you sir.
Yeah that seems to be the way to go once the pins are installed. thanks.
