I also had a hard time but eventually got the charge pipe on. I thought about removing the inner black gasket but it looked to me that it served a purpose based on how its position so I didn’t remove it. Fortunately all it takes is a little lithium grease and some oomf!

Exactly, the Verus heat shield will make up for that easily. And I added the gold to the side of the air box facing the direction. ;)

Prepared the intake for a Verus resonator delete, Verus turbo heat shield and FTP inlet pipe. Trimmed back the shield since there won’t be a resonator and add some additional heat soak protection. Finished with an HKS drop in.
