They didnt even look at my car. I registered both the prius and supra at once. Even switching over my license was quick and without even taking an eye exam (suspended due to covid)
the only thing that sucked out of the whole process was the huge cost to get the plates. The majority of it was...
I recovered my supra and with my other fob everything worked 100%. I have not yet recovered my initial fob with the bad battery to see if it is the root cause. The problem does not seem to be on the car end.
I will give an update soon. I am still about a 2 day drive from seattle. Once i get there i will recover my car using my other keyfob so i should be able to see if the locks work as expected pretty quickly. On monday i will get my other fob back and will be able to test
Unlocking is not the question, we could not get the car LOCKED. Bmw forums say strange things happen when a keyfob battery is low. I know the symptoms were accurately described, they were shared over facetime so i saw it first hand. Hitting that lock button on the door did nothing but the car...
i am not sure…. Both doors were not responding to the pushing of the lock button on the driver door so it would mean two actuators failed at the same time. Also the car did successfully lock when i sent the lock command from the supraconnect app (2500 miles away)
i just shipped my car cross country and my friend took receipt. He alerted me to my locks not working. both the key fob and the lock button on the door would not engage the actuators. He made sure all the doors and trunk were closed (trunk had to be popped from the trunk button). The car started...
I mean…… the spooling noise is created by the turbo. The intake might help you hear it but its subjective and not the purpose of the intake. did you buy an intake for the increased level in spooling noise?
I flew in yesterday I hope all days are that sunny! (Jk I know that was the first sun in weeks) technically I am still here in the airport for another 6 hours. First time in wa like what I am seeing so far. Yes I am moving from oh but I am from ny. Seattle is a lot more like ny than current...
Ok Seattle its happening. Coming to the cloudy side in January. My Supra is going to beat me out there as the transport leaves a few days before i will.
the car is on a lift above the other car so…. There is that. I rather have to remember these things, which is very easy, than to continually pop the hatch which will eventually start to wear things down
i just called the general licensing number and explained the situation. The lady did not ask what county. She did highlight there was a major change on inspection starting in 2020 so maybe everything has been eliminated (that was the source of the confusion and why i posted here).
i guess we...
Too much confusion. I researched this and found the same information provided previously. I just called the vehicle licensing office. No inspection of any kind required. The cars are newer that 2010, i have both titles, the process is simply to bring both valid registrations and both titles to...
anyone out in washington register a car from out of state? I know the smog testing ended a few years ago both for registration renewal and transferring a car but what out moving a car in from another state?
specifically i am trying to find out if i am going to have an issue with tinted windows...
