Did not necessarily trade or sell, but my 2021 STI was totaled so I replaced it with the Supra.
Someone in a charger failed to yield at an intersection.
Mine is basically stock, so far I've done the following:
-Tint
- Rock guards
- AWE foilers
- bimmercode (disabled ASD and auto start/stop functions)
My "intention" is to keep it this way for now, but I have been contemplating adding an exhaust since shutting off the ASD function.
Finally used bimmercode to shut off the fake engine noise coming through speakers. The cabin is really quiet now, I may need an aftermarket exhaust.
I have never owned a BMW or Toyota before the Supra. I've always owned Mazdas and Subarus, with my most recent being a 21 STI and I daily an 06 LGT.
My STI was totaled the end of last year. I knew I wanted to upgrade, so I had narrowed it down to a new RS3 or Supra. I really liked the styling...
You're describing exactly what my 22 does when cold and at idle. For reference, mine is completely stock with about 1300 miles. See video below, best heard with headphones. You can see/hear as I rev just a bit, the rattle goes away then comes back at idle.
