Hey folks- I installed a Uniclutch Track Edition on my Supra. So far 270 miles in and it's been great with OEM feel, and the great thing is I spent under a grand on the core + adapter needed to run it.
After breaking it in fully, I'll take it to the track and provide feedback.

@Vinny if you're running 295 or 305 tires, you will probably want an 11 inch wheel because the tread will be pinched on a 10.5in. Will it technically be fine on 10.5? Sure, but definitely not optimal. Whatever gains you see on a 295 or 305 on a 10.5 inch wheel will be more from tire compound...
MT still more fun and not rubbery bro.
If you want fast just go get a plaid. ?
On top of that, it's a common misconception that they compromised to get the manual to fit the car.
There were already manual test mules before even the automatic version of the car came out. The only reason they...
It's a more nuanced situation than most people realize.
Wider tires increase lateral grip because the contact patch gets wider laterally, but the contact patch will become shorter longitudinally which will decrease longitudinal grip.
To counteract this, people run lower tire pressures so that...
33k miles on my MT and it's had zero issues. Took it to several auto crosses and 4 track days within the past year and have worn through 4 sets of tires. You'll be fine as long as you know how to drive manual properly.
Noob here, but theoretically if I were to run this on a stock ECU, would it work? Would there even be a point to it/would I see significant power gains? Or is it just a waste of money...
The M2 may have released later than the Supra, but like the Supra, it's just BMW's modular CLAR platform underneath. They're very similar. Also a lot of parts are literally just ripped from the BMW M4 released in 2020. So it's not like the car is drastically newer. The only thing that's truly a...
I agree 100% with you.
Like @White Shadow mentioned, the S58 will likely never reach the Supra :(
There isn't a lighter chassis that can just take an S58 swap and be fine with minimal work on the manufacturer side. It'd outperform any other chassis/drivetrain combination BMW has currently, so...
Eventually I wouldn't be surprised if the S58 is developed more and starts beating modded B58's. But until that happens a modded B58 is still faster (for now).
And if we are talking about just chassis, ignoring the engine and transmission thrown in these cars, the Supra is just flat out the...
