I always thought the R35 was hideous. Looks aside have you factor in maintenance cost? I was told it wasn't cheap to keep up with those things.

I don't think the main reason the guys from TN Supra project was to save money. It has to do more to do with getting more subscribers, more clicks and giving viewers content etc. In end I think their final cost will be around $40k.

I think that's a silly thing to say. It's like saying the RX7/8 has tons of issues, therefore the Miata must also be a nightmare. You're right, again just dropped in a hybrid V35A and call it a day. Even if the Supra gets the S58 it will more than likely be expensive and or a very limited short...

I wonder if you will still feel that way after your warranty is up. :p I have previously owned my fair share of BMWs. It doesn't have to be an I6. I wouldn't complain if they went with the hybrid version of the V35A that is a rumored to be used on the next Tundra/Sequoia and LC/LX.

Unless some agreement was made I doubt BMW will allow Toyota to farther use any of their tech on future models especially if they are pulling the plug on their own Z4. Besides, Mazda has a new upcoming straight six motor. :D
