It looks plain because they drill panels into the car to disguise the real design. Also just a quick reminder of what the almighty MK4 looked like under camo.

I don't know the extract time period. I just recall in an interview where Tada san said the Toyota board was up in arms about lending their D4-S to Subaru for that joint project, but gave in at the end. The same argument can be made here. By the time this thing shows up the LC500h could be 3-4...

Just playing devil's advocate for a moment. I also don't believe we will get a hybrid, (at least not anytime soon). But didn't Toyota give Subaru their DS4 system for the 86? And the agreement between both automakers did state they will both share their diesel and hybrid technology with each other.

I believe 'Supra' is the only name Toyota has trademarked at moment.

First, welcome and don't be shy. Yeah you're right. A new 3 has already been spied testing. A new M3 can't be too far behind. X2, if this sucks I blame Toyota for allowing this abomination to even take place.

Well if we go back in time the Z4M did really poorly. BMW dealers had to give up to a $10k discount in order to move them. Plus we now have a M2, its somewhat comparable. So I acutally don't blame BMW for not wanting to make another one. However when it comes to Toyota it would be extremely sad...

Not only that, but a potential "Z4 M" may eat away from M2 sales.

How hard is it to throw in a S55? Heck at this point I would even be ok with the M2's N55. I do understand the logic behind it. They don't want it to outperform the M2 & M3/M4, but that is a lame excuse IMO. The only little hope I have is BMW's new CLAR platform. I believe it has saved anywhere...
