Um, I have no idea what ESR is but yes, once I got the TPMS sensor fixed, I was good to go. I still have to get Discount Tire to pay for their mistake though.
At the request of Discount Tire, I had taken the car to the dealer. I told them to go through each sensor. They eventually found another sensor that was slightly cracked (assuming that it cracked while installing in the new tire). The sad part was that it sometimes worked and often enough that...
Tried that - set to 'other' thinking that would solve the problem. Unfortunately not. It took a lot longer this time as it was essentially a hard reset. Stayed on 0% for a long time, then 1% then finally went up to the dreaded 49% and, voila, back to the same: TPMS sensor malfunction error...
Ok, I thought I had this fixed but unfortunately not. I've been back to Discount Tire 4 times. Here's the scenario:
Car: 19" wheels. Replaced tires with same size. So that part shouldn't be a problem.
Recognition: as mentioned, gets to 49% and then "TPMS malfunction". I've tried to do it...
I upgraded speakers and put in a new sub but my installer says part of the problem is that there is really no mid-range - the 3" speakers are too small and then it goes straight to bass.
Anyway, reconnected phone today and it worked. Waiting for next time for it not to work. Very annoyed...
I don't typically drive the car on long trips but I did recently and while in the midst of the trip, Carplay just went out. In fact, it seems Bluetooth itself went out. I could not connect at all. I turned the car off, disconnected my phone from the car, unpaired it, set it up as a new phone and...
I just got new tires for my Supra. TPMS worked fine before. I had to tell it to "start learning" and it gets up to 49% and stops there - says there is a malfunction.
It can't be a coincidence that I just got new tires - I suppose its possible Discount Tire messed up the TPMS sensor but I'm...
Hi Dinan,
Will it fit the A91-MT - see with this strut bar: https://www.supramkv.com/threads/2023-mt-factory-strut-tower-bar-info.14940/
Also, any tuning necessary?
Any issues with CEL?
What air filter is used?
I saw earlier in the thread is that you need the inlet pipe - I assume that is...
Hi all,
I wouldn't post a new thread if I could find the answer here but I couldn't. My car is relatively new and I've not driven it much, especially on the highway. I just recently did a 3 hour trip and was trying to make phone calls to people but my volume for calls was not that loud. Here...
Not quite sure why you say that. I just completed an install where I have a 6 point and retained the 3 point belts. I replaced the seat of course - with a seat with proper harness holes. Its not a racing bucket; its the Recaro Sportster GT which you can get with sub hole.
I plan on doing a...
Hi All,
Just took my old seats today and started on the procedure of putting in harness and seat. Then I realized I have a few problems.
Right now I'm not quite sure how to use the mounts - I got a lot of hardware and of course no instructions. I got the sliders on but I think someone else...
I do. I might be interested in a swap. When I track my car, I don't mind the feel as I wear gloves. But for the street, I don't know - something about the alcantara feel kind of bugs me. I don't know what the non A91 MT cars look like. Can someone send a pic? If they are leather and ours are...
Folks - I have a buyer. Thanks for all the interest. I need to find boxes for them and if this sale falls through, I'll let the next person in line know.
Thats right. I think I paid $1675 for the "nardo" which is really just black cloth and that included a sub-hole which was necessary to put in a 6 point harness. The base, brackets, slider is all extra. Its not cheap.
