It’s volume on listening side in the car, not mic issue. I can hear the person on the call - just that the volume isn’t all that loud.

Thats right. I think I paid $1675 for the "nardo" which is really just black cloth and that included a sub-hole which was necessary to put in a 6 point harness. The base, brackets, slider is all extra. Its not cheap.
