My Remnant turbo came with the T51R mod. I understand it offers no performance benefit but I do like the sound. Most people are happy to spend money on aesthetic mods that they can’t even enjoy from inside the car?‍♂️. No flame tune and I’ve got burbles disabled but it still shoots flames?
Hoping the fitment on your is better than that white car. The uneven panel gaps between the hood and bumper would bother me every time I looked at the car.
I had to buy another dongle as well to get mine to work. The MHD red dongle works for me. Also, make sure you turn off auto connect in your Wi-Fi settings for apple car play. I had a similar issue where I would connect to the dongle and by the time I would open MHD or XHP my phone would auto...
I haven't done anything with the rears. On the new G8X cars the rear brakes are basically the same as the Supra. Dinky little single piston calipers that are little more than a parking brake. I didn't change the master cylinder or do any programming either, just a brake part swap and a brake...
You’ll need the caliper/pads/rotors from one of the G8X M vehicles. I used parts from a wrecked M4 Comp. With the provided adapters the brake parts just bolt right up. One of the easiest mods I’ve ever done. You may want to buy new hardware from the dealer. I picked up a set of new G8X caliper...
There were problems with getting the wastegate calibrated according to the shop that did the install. The wastegate bracket that comes with the turbo flexes during actuation which I'm sure isn't ideal. The linkage between the actuator and the wastgate has come apart once while I was on a long...
The Remnant Performance Omega 65 turbo is available as 2-port and comes default with the T51R mod. Its stock location and uses the factory electronic wastegate. Overall I'm pretty happy with mine but if I'm totally honest I'd go top mount and external wastegate if I had to do it again.
I just replaced mine last month after getting a battery aging code. I didn't actually even get a code until after it wouldn't start one day and had to be jumped. My 2020 is at 60K miles for reference. Immediately I noticed the crank was stronger and faster that it had been for a long time.
I had originally purchased custom tuning and Ecutek hardware from Marin to go with the Remnant performance Omega65 turbo kit and port injection. After waiting months and not receiving even a base map I successfully disputed charges and switched to Stephen with Wedge Performance. I had a flexfuel...
I've got a set of adapters and all the brake parts on hand. Just waiting for it to not be 110 degrees out here in phoenix. ? Found the whole set of calipers, pads and rotors off a 7k mile wrecked G82!
