Yeah you're going to love them. It's been over 300 miles and I am surprised just how good they feel. I really was worried about NVH and there is none at all. Smart move on the caster bushings as well. Going from 7.5 degrees to 8 degrees of caster gave my car a very pleasant increase in steering...
Had an interesting 4 weeks dealing with my alignment.
Initially, the steering wheel was off-center. I brought it back, they racked it and made adjustments. The service manager brought me my keys without new paperwork and weirdly said, "we think it's good to go.". Well it wasn't. The car was now...
Got the car back from alignment at HD Motorsports here in Austin. Awesome experience with a super friendly service manager. It handles great and the rear stays planted way better now. I can literally floor it exiting an apex where I used to power-over on marginal throttle, and it just grips—zero...
FINALLY got the parts installed that required dropping the subframe! It took about a month of chipping away at it for just a few hours a week. I had to get back surgery a few years ago so I take my time with car projects these days.
Installed:
Whiteline Rear Sway bar
Set to the softest...
Finally got around to installing these in the rear - zero NVH increase from what I can tell. I can't comment if they are doing anything meaningful however because I did them at the same time as lateral links so it's tough to say what is benefiting what.
Over the course of the last 4 weeks I got around to installing a whiteline rear sway bar, the Phase2Motortrend rear subframe inserts, and Verkline rear upper lateral links. Surprisingly, car drives perfectly straight and no suspension codes popped up. Oh and I swapped my diff fluid while I was...
I got the "other one" which is AA's own catalytic converter unit from my understanding. It was $850.25 shipped to my door. I've put about 500 miles on it and no CEL so far. It DOES definitely smell like when I'm warming it up or sitting at a crowded intersection but not a whole lot. Very happy...
I love the car but I have some complaints:
Wheelbase is too short
Curbweight is too heavy especially for the wheelbase
Factory LSD sucks
Cupholders make no sense
Reverse needs a lockout (Should have been up and to the left with a lockout like on the GR86)
Small complaints among a plethora of...
Oh nice man thanks for sharing that!!
For now I'm sticking with stock tune - I think at least until I pay it off (22k to go!) then I'll decide if I wanna realllly give her some beans :)
Been a while since I've done anything to my car - mainly because I'm saving up to buy another house... BUUUUT I couldn't resist the black Friday deals and got myself a AA catted downpipe which fits my mantra of OEM+ quite nicely.
Butt dyno says I gained 20hp and increased tip-on throttle...
I've been staying away from this site because every time I log in, I end up wanting to spend money. Case in point: The last time I spent a few days reading the forum, I ended up buying an AA catted downpipe that I had ceramic coated. I got around to installing it today.
Also gave her a...

Both are still in development. Oh boy this is getting me excited I hate the OEM LSD so much whoever...
I'm wondering why the dealer isn't taking care of this? I had a similar situation with a new truck I bought - it showed up at my door with a ding in the hood, told the dealer and they took care of everything including sending a guy to grab the truck from my house and take it in for PDR then...
