Well than the plan is to get a gen 2 350R.Going to have save up a little more since there 75-85k for a decent low milage one so I'll have the supra probably till the end of the year but this is the longest i've owned a car which would be 2 years lol.I love the supra and it is a gorgeous car but...
I mean you could say that about most cars now a days.
Almost every car has a base model that you see plenty.
Out of all the 50k plus "performance" cars I see so many C8s and M3s every single day.
So i was able to test drive.Surprised they let me go out on my own.First thing off the rip is the torque, have to get around 3500 to start feeling it kick it in but I was geeked off the start up lol.One of the best sounding stock cars I’ve heard. The tremec is like butter just slides into gear no...
I would actually be downgrading to a slower car with the gt350 lol.
Right now on E60 I make 650wh/600tq. Im actually about to test drive one in the next couple hours
so I'll see how it feels.
The supra wasn't really a daily. I drove it whenever I could but once it rained or got below like 45 i put her away.I have a work truck and a 83 foxbody that i beat the shit out of but there's times where I would drive the supra for weeks and than wouldn't so it not being a "practical" daily...
I get why you switched. The supra is a go-cart/rocket once you get it dialed in but I get what your saying with the paddles but nothing beats downshifting any 5.0, thats what I miss the most honestly. Also did have long tube headers with a corsa sport so that kind of tells you the dickhead I am...
It sounds so badass coming out those corners.
I should of got a stick when it came to the supra,It was fun at first but now its just ehhhhh.
Also I do have like car ADHD, I get a new car every like year n half so part of it is me but I do want
to experience the 350.I could always get a supra...
That's the exact color I want lead foot grey lol.
Your more of a track guy but how was the feel on the street?
I know it's stiffer and can be kind of harsh at times.
I was never able to test drive one but I did ride in one and fell in love. I was originally looking for a Mach 1 or a gt350 when i wanted to trade in my GT but the supra caught my eye immediately and I said fuck it and pulled the trigger. Don't get me wrong I love the supra and was my first car...
Tried looking through past threads to see if anyone switched from a Supra to a gt350.
Not much info but I was wondering if anyone has owned both. Honestly I don't care about hype or how many looks I get around town.
Smiles per gallon is the biggest factor, owned a 19 mustang gt and loved it (was...
Revisiting this thread. Debating on trading in the auto for the manual.
Had a 19 Mustang GT with the MT-82 which was dog shit even with the lightweight clutch. Constant rev hang & lockouts in 3rd n 4th which led me to the auto supra. Is the rev hang often and has anybody experienced lockouts?
Yeah I carried it over.Im currently taking everything off everything making sure all the seals and O rings are good to triple check myself.Im guessing its the WGA.Once I put everything back on im going to take a couple more logs
Alright kind of going crazy trying to figure out if I have a boost leak.Tried doing some logs after installing the DAW FloxMax.Making 19PSI on 90% duty cycle.Yesterday did a smoke test with 10PSi and intake was fine,PI Rings and charge pipe were fine.Kind of going crazy rn.Car was fine on stock...
I went with the pure 800.I might overshoot my goal with everything else I have setup so I might just say fuck it and do the trans now but idk 90% of the driving I do is on the turnpike, I barely ever launch the car.
I don't think so. I eventually want to get a top mount and upgrade the tranny just
not looking to spend 15-20K just yet. I might as well get PI done if that's the route I want to go.
