Itās been a while, but Iā like 95% sure itās the exact same except the last step. Instead of putting foot on brake and hitting start button. Just hit start button twice. So ignition on/engine off.
the low temp side is pretty easy though. .Last few times I just filled it with engine running...
Itās the sensor that gets eliminated by the pure turbo install. Needs to be coded out with custom tune.
also will need to code out the excessive PCV flow. That one doesnāt happen till you drive it a bit.
One thing to be sure of. There are 2 separate cooling systems. Bleed procedure is different for each system. If you drain them both out do the low temp first. Then the high temp.
yes there is a sensor. no way to relocate it as the inlet gets replaced. Pretty sure it is a temperature sensor. will definitely set a code. Will probably have 2 codes; there is another one that sets because the DME thinks the extra flow through turbo is a pcv leak.
Check to be sure...
I know this is old but it is kind of laughable. Only reason I stumbled on this is because I had an opportunity to play with a c7 z06 today on interstate. I was exited I could hold my own. Keep in mind thatās with pure turbo, meth, and downpipe.
the vette is 650hp stock....... gonna need...
I think I disagree. My flow is not controlled by tune at all. Ithe solenoid is something controlled by boost pressure. Zero up till 6psi then progresses to full spray at 15 psi.
I understand that the effectiveness and power gains are obviously dependent on the tune. But as far as meth...
Yes I used the titan kit. It does not come with components to run dual nozzle. It is a t after the check valve. I ordered it from NX Express/Snow performance.
2 nozzles. Little one in charge pipe (175ml) and bigger one in TB spacer (375ml). I guess if I do the math on that its 550ml. Soooo like .15 gallons per hour.
Itās pretty rich. sending some data logs to get tune dialed in this week. charge air temp is pretty stable with increasing boost...
Anyone have suggested boost start/ full spray for progressive methanol set up? I set mine up for 6/15 psi. I may have been a little throttle happy with the new set up and tune but used 1/2 gallon of boost juice today.
Looking into ordering in bulk but curious what other have set as window.
Yes,
open bleeder on overflow
fill overflow to top
close bleeder and replace overflow cap
close hood, make sure car is on ground (not on lift or jacks), apply parking brake
put car in diag mode (ht start button 3 times)
turn on low beam lights, and hazard lights
put heater control on max...
Its actually listed as the pcv valve. I had to replace mine. Broke it installing turbo. I didnt see the connection under the intake hose and id snapped with very little pressure.
Kind of old but for anyone that want to know
This code isnāt really a fault code. Car still starts and drives okay. And clearing codes with an itas or other (like MHD) will not get rid of message. Only way to clear it is to register a battery replacement in the DME.
nm, The VIN you had was wrong. I just copied from website WZ1DB4C02LW027265
However, the decoded info is completely blank. Just knows its a Supra built on 08/27/2019. Does list it as grade "RB" Though not sure what that means.
I ran VIN number, coming up as invalid. I am not familiar with how Toyota dealers get inventory in quam but my guess is this is a non US vin. I get the same error message when i run vehicles from Canada and Mexico.
Strange the VIN isnt on the Monroney Label
You also can not "spec" a...
Was driving my Supra with pureturbo800 and downpipe this evening.
happened to have to MhD hooked up on manual logging.
If you are familiar with the MHD logger it records max and min values. After a pull I looked down and it said my max boost was 27 lbs. target boost was 21 lbs. it also...
