There were 5 errors detected by the ECUTEK app. The issue was caused when the rubber cuppler ripped between the FTP charge pipe and the turbo inlet pipe 😳 I herd of those coming off but never being torn.
You can't see that it is torn, you have to feel it because the tear is in the back of the...
I just received this drivetrain error yesterday! I am running ECUTEK, so it is not the piggyback software per se. My MK5 is heavily modified, FBO, CSF intake manifold, PI, 1050x injectors, flex fuel, additional fuel system etc.
I was running the car hard and the all of a sudden no power. Like...
I have the Magnaflow and was already tuned before I had it installed. Tuner said a retune was not required. The car runs great and pulls hard.
I was suprised that the Magnaflow sounded awesome during stationary revs. All the videos I have seen of this exhust it didn't sound good during...
Can anyone tell me how the AMS heat exchanger compare with the CSF model?
I like that the AMS version fits like stock and there are no modifications required.
Is there any reason outside of price to choose CSF over AMS? Are there better heat exchangers for the a90 Supra?
Thanks in...
Yeah, that is clever wording. They are probably providing a lifetime warranty for only ETS parts and not the Turbo even though they are including the Turbo in the ETS package.
Here is there exact words. So it can be a little confusing as far as what is covered. But it seems to imply that the turbo kit is covered and the kit includes DP and turbo. So would need to get some clarity from ETS.

That is a good question. Would have to check again. Just saw the advertisement of their turbo system and they said essentially said the buyer can rest assured that it is covered by a lifetime warranty like the rest of their products or something to that effect.
The Pure800 turbo warrsnty is for 1 year. If something happens after 1 year you are out of luck and that is not good when you consider people have experienced issues with this turbo. However, I heard Pure was making some changes to the Pure800. Not sure how the change will impact...
Thanks for the info. I am sure West VA has some nice stretches to really enjoy yourself. Its been a while since I have been to that area. It is a little far for me. That is something to plan and make into an event.
I am one of the idiots that reaponded to a Toyota survey with regards to what updates I would like to see made to the Supra and I mentioned that I would like to see more carbon fiber options. I mean a carbon fiber steering wheel and other interior pieces in carbon fiber would have been nice...
You don't need to be straight E50 per my tuner. He said if you have a E50 tune and drop lower than e40 then there could be a problem. I am prettey sure I haven't run a perfect E50 mix because you really don't know what you are getting at the pump unless you have an ethanol reader.
